Bolivia, no this wine is not from South America lol, there is a little town in New South Wales named by the first European settlers in 1840 as Bolivia and hence the name of this number. This wine is epic for the price. Light, crispy, crunchy. Literally everything you want in a chilled red. Subtle hints of goji berries, mulberries, charcuterie and meats. Made from a multi-vintage and many varieties (Shiraz, Cabernet and Merlot), where everything is dry-grown organically. A combination of whole bunch ferments in 2019 and direct presses in 2020.

About the maker

Little is known about New England and it's ranging micro-climates, but Jared Dixon is putting it back on everyone's map through his elevating and creative winemaking.

Managing his own vineyard at Black Mountain, whilst sourcing fruit from Troppers Mountain Tingha and Kurrajong Downs, Jared's winemaking philosophy is to make sure the wine is a representation of a time and a place, with no tampering or additions. All his releases have immense amounts of vibrancy, vitality and purity. One of his sites, Black Mountain, at 1360m, would have to be the highest vineyard in Australia. The wines that come about are out of this world. They could go head-to-head with any of the most premium wine growing regions around the world.
