Hartshorn Distillery started as an experiment for Ryan to make use of his sheep whey, now has it's place on the finest bar shelves in Australia and the world. Each Bottle is hand sprayed black and the label hand written and signed by Ryan Hartshorn (Head distiller). Creamy sweet nose, velvet body with a smooth attitude to finish. Fresh pear and golden apple. Rounding out with hints of wild spice, leather and mineral freshness to finish. Super smooth with little heat and plenty of character. Designed to drink straight at room temperature. Serve alone in a large aromatic glass or as a vodka martini with a pair of quality green olives.

About the maker

Sheep farmers turned part-time (now very much full time) distillers, Hartshorn took a sustainable hobby and turned it into a global winning vodka.

At their core, Hartshorn tend to sheep in a completely organic and sustainable method by working with the native elements of their Australian landscape, making beautiful cheeses and milks. Ryan has never been one to throw away the sheep whey down the drain and one day decided to have a crack at converting it into alcohol. Whilst most distilleries triple distill to hide their bases, Ryan does the opposite, double distilling to allow the natural aromas and creamy characteristics to travel through. In 2018 Hartshorn Distillery took out World's Best Vodka in at the World Vodka Awards and World's best varietal of Australia vodka three years running.
