About the maker
Costadila is a small, traditional, organic, “closed-loop” farm in the hills north of Venice.
As per the local tradition, the wines produced are always naturally fermented in bottles and not disgorged (hence the lees and cloudiness in the bottle). The vineyard sits on clay and limestone soils at an altitude of 450m above sea level, with the vines around 40-50 years of age. All the fruit is hand-picked and never any additions introduced to the wines. The Proseccos are usually very very dry with a magical light fizz.See the Costadila collection here
