About the maker
Just outside of Geneva, on the other side of the lake, lies La Brasseries des Voirons and it's mixed-ferment brewery based in the alpine town draws its water supply is from the alps.
With backgrounds in hospitality, wine importing and even ballet, Christophe and Barbara source certified organic hops, barley, and wheat from around Germany and Belgium and use local water. The grains sourced are allowed to germinate, so that the sugars concentrate to optimal brewing levels, following this, before crushing and mixing the grains with hot water, the grains are roasted to the level that will allow them to determine the style of beer produced. The beers are adventurous yet easy to drink, taste wise, they sit perfectly between a beer and a wine.See the Brasserie des Voirons collection here
