About the maker
With more than 30 years combined experience across bars and restaurants, Lisa and Justin Jenkins followed what they felt they've always wanted to do, make tasty wines.
Their motto is simple and straight, to make wines that create flavour, texture and enjoyment. Lisa & Justin Jenkins were inspired to start their own wine label while working at Melbourne’s notorious City Wine Shop. Justin went on to work at the likes of Galli Estate & Mount Langhi, while Lisa, a wine show judge and a graduate of the Len Evans Tutorial, further honed her skills as one of Australia’s leading wine communicators, sommelier and educator. In 2016, their dream to make wine was realised with Fleet’s first release, a Cabernet Franc from Gippsland. The duo relocated there and now source their fruit from both Gippsland and around Victoria.
