Back again in Summer 19/20.  That earthy, stone fruit, mouth salivating rattlesnake. Owen emphasises this wine is not about the types of grapes used, but where they have come from. It's an ongoing experiment with both French and Italian classics, 5 different skin fermentations and all left until being assembled. Viognier & Gris (skin contact), Sauvignon Blanc (skin contact), Pinot Noir juice on gewürztraminer skins, Pinot Gris (skin contact), Viognier (skin contact). Chill this down and take it to the park with a group of friends.

About the maker

Born into a winemaking family, Owen Latta finished his first vintage at the ripe old age of 14.

Latta Vino is the brain child of 34 year old Owen Latta. Making his first vintage at 14 Owen didn't want to introduce any additions to his own vintage. This has stuck with Owen in years passing. Latta Vino is Owen's second label, behind the family Eastern Peake. All the fruit remains sustainably grown and with absolutely no additions. His more playful wines are produced with grapes from vineyards run by old family friends and relatives in the surrounding area. In 2018, Owen Latta won Young Winemaker of the Year. This is a Notwasted absolute favourite.
