About the maker
A collaborative effort between organic farmer Juan Ignacio Acuña in Guarilihue and female grower in organic transition Nepa, Chile these guys are making approachable and hands-off old vine wines.
Their vines range in age between 40 and 75 years. All vines are on granitic sandy-loams, with some clay-loams in the mix as well. 'Corcho' (cork) is one of winemaker Juan's five vineyard dogs, who all have wine related names. The namesake for this wine as he's always lounging in front of the bodega, and has a gentle, easy playfulness about him.
