About the maker
Located in Villaga, in the province of Vicenza lies Siemàn. Translated from Venetian dialect it means "six hands": the hands of 3 brothers. Marco, Daniele and Andrea Filippini.
Siemàn has nine hectares, but only four are planted with vines. Biodiversity is pronounced and encouraged with countless varieties of flowers, plants, wild animals, vineyards and olive trees all co-exist in this magical slice of Veneto heaven. Since the beginning both vineyard and cellar work is carried out with a high attention to detail, avoiding any synthetic chemicals and even replacing copper sprays with mushroom-based products to stimulate the natural resistance of the vine. All their work is completely natural and sustainable, not to mention their wines are powerful yet detailed and complex, with healthy fruit characteristics and distinct flavours.See the Siemàn collection here
