About the maker
Francesco Mariani, chef and vine grower, founded Raina in 2002 after abandoning his culinary talents for life amongst his biodynamic vines.
They tend to 10 hectares of vineyards, planted between 2002 and 2008 with soil of medium consistency and rich in texture. In the field they stick to purely biodynamic principles. In the cellar there are no introductions apart from marginal amounts of sulphur and their overarching goal is to showcase the clean, elegant, drinkable and exceptional personality.See the Raina collection here
