About the maker
Having discovered a patch of old vines underneath shrubs in Montalcino's country side, Marino Colleoni and wife Luisa then and there decided to begin making wine.
Sitting at 470-500 meters above sea level, the Montalcino area is surrounded by forest, well ventilated and sits on predominantly sand, limestone and volcanic rock. Marino seems to be pioneering the area with his passion and values around biodiversity. The wines from Montalcino are incredibly precise and fine.See the Marino Colleoni collection here
