About the maker
From wood merchant to winemaker, Lauren Lebled took a leap of faith after finding himself out of work during the 2008 economic recession.
Guided by two supportive friends, Sébastien Bobinet and Patrick Corbineau, insisting that becoming a vigneron would be a good fit for him. Laurent was reticent, but Sébastien promised he would show him how to do everything. Many years on and Laurent is now fully operational, producing sulphur-free, carbonically macerated reds. Of note, his style of extended carbonic macerations (full 30 days vs the usual of 12-15) imparts the wines with rustic feel that is so often lacking in many of the fruity carbonic gulpers made in the same style.See the Laurent Lebled collection here
