About the maker
Alla Costiera is owned by Filippo Gamba who is passing on his passion for wine that he gained from his father Gerardo. In 1998 he converted to organic after finding himself infatuated with natural processes, this led to further converting completely to biodynamics in 2005.
The tiny 7 acre farm is located on the south-west slopes of the Euganean Hills in the town of Vo. Although most of the agriculture in the town is rice, Filippo found a beautiful patch of volcanic soil to grow his vines. All grapes are hand harvested and all wine is produced in cement tanks giving it a natural flow of oxygen.See the Alla Costiera collection here
