About the maker

Former Italian national football player, almost graduate in physics and barman at the historic La Palma club in Rome, decided to leave everything and pursue his dream of a winemaker.

Today he cultivates four hectares of biodynamic vineyards on the slopes of the Scalambra mountains along a chain on limestone-marnian fields. Mario cultivates predominantly Cesanese, where in these mountains sheltered by cold and temperate winds, has found the ideal habitat for its development alongside small quantities of Passerina and Malvasia Puntinata.
