About the maker
Perched high up in the Forest Range (South Australia), Manon Farm has a stunning aspect. The climate makes for slow ripening fruit, with no fining, no filtering and no additions. Just organic fruit.
Tim Webber and Monique Milton carry the triple 'No' approach. No filtering, no fining, no additives. Just grapes. The extremely thought out fermentation process and organic (sometimes un-pruned) vineyard presents top quality natural wines.
Manon Farm is perched high up (600 meters elevation) on the Forest Range ridge of the Adelaide Hills nestled between the Basket Range and Lenswood. With a dramatic view straight down to the Gulf St Vincent below. This unique situation is very rewarding for the vines as cooling air is drawn straight up and over the farm from the ocean. This combined with the elevation results in an extra long, slow ripening period for the grapes and ideal growing conditions for their organic approach. Thanks to Manon for their notes!
