About the maker
With their vineyards planted in the 1970s, the Lomazzi family have worked tirelessly to convert to organic and now biodynamic farming, with manual and minimal intervention humble practices.
Their 4 hectare plot is set up as a big garden with flowers, vegetables and fruit trees amongst the vines. The varieties planted are Sangiovese, Colorino, Malvasia Nera and Canaiolo. The wines are aged in Slovenian oak and many vintages will have various bottling dates. Thanks to Lo-Fi for the notes.See the Colombaia collection here
