Returns and Refund Policy
As natural wines are very sensitive to the surrounding environment and perishable if not taken care of, we do not offer change of mind refunds.
For orders where a mistake has been made, please let us know within 30 days of receiving the order.
Returning an Order
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Customers will will receive 10% off orders of 6 or more bottles of wine automatically. Free shipping will automatically be applied at checkout, not in the cart, for 4 or more bottles. The 10% discount will only be applied to items not on sale or any packs.
We use a combination of carriers and our own car for Notwasted deliveries.
Delivery is complimentary for orders for 4 more bottles or more.
Customers can choose either convenient or economical ways to receive their wine. We offer:
- Same Day (Sydney only) - A same day service from Monday to Saturday 11:00am through to 19:00. Last orders taken at 18:00. Includes SMS and email notifications with estimated delivery time, when the driver is on the way and live tracking. Only available within 15km radius of CBD.
- Express & Carbon Neutral - A more economical and environmentally friendly service in business hours. Orders are generally delivered in 2 business days following dispatch down the east coast Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Newcastle, Gold Coast etc. Other cities click here. Our Carbon Emissions each year are offset through tree planting contributions.
Unfortunately same day delivery is only available in metropolitan Sydney at this time, but expect this to change as we branch out across Australia.
Shipping Timeframes & Hot Conditions
Once your order has been shipped you will receive an email notification with a tracking number.
Shipping times can vary depending on your location see this page for more estimated delivery times on Express & Carbon Neutral.
If there are extremely high temperatures we may decide to halt your shipment to avoid risk of spoiling the wine.
With Same Day delivery, please reply to your shipping notification or email us at email@example.com if the timeframe is not going to suit you.
Free shipping is available for all orders with 4 or more bottles with the exception of any promotional discount.
Express delivery is managed through our partners at CouriersPlease and other carriers. CouriersPlease provide an overnight service within metropolitan areas.
Shipping costs are calculated based on the size of the order and your location.
Shipping Delivery Attempts
With our Express and Carbon Neutral delivery, if a parcel cannot be delivered on the first attempt, it will either be delivered to a nearby location for collection or made available for a free re-delivery.
After a delivery attempt is made, the driver will leave a card with tracking information and instructions for re-delivery or pick-up. An email will also be sent to you with this information.
Once your order has been placed, you will receive a confirmation email following the checkout process. The order confirmation contains your invoice number and all relevant details relating to the order.
Orders will be processed the same business day they are received. Orders placed after 11:00 (AEST), may be fulfilled the following business day.
Once we have processed the order, a confirmation email will be sent to you. The email will contain a link and tracking number for the shipment.

Modifying or Cancelling Your Order
You can modify or cancel your order as long as it has not been packed and/or shipped. We will do our best to accomodate any changes or cancellations before shipping.
To modify your order please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number.
To check on your order status:
- Login into your NOTWASTED account
- Under ‘My Account’ there will be an area with your ‘Order History’
- The ‘Fulfillment Status’ will be either ‘Fulfilled’ or ‘Unfulfilled’, if an order has been shipped it will be ‘Fulfilled’
