A man of many talents Ryan Ponsford, also a creative photographer, has set off on a path of winemaking in the Gippsland and he wants more people in in Australia to understand that wine should be about place not maker nor variety.
Surrounded by talented winemakers like William Downie and Patrick Sullivan, alongside a really unique landscape, after only a few years, Ryan is already producing a set of captivating wines. Do not expect your Barossa Shiraz or Mornington Pinot Noir, but rather varieties that come from a certain place.
