Lammidia

Marco and Davide of Lammidia, friends since the age of three, are two young men from Abruzzo having fun with their farming and winemaking to produce delicious wines with very little intervention.

Located in the Gran Sasso National Park and Monti della Laga, the Lammidia winery is perched about 600 meters from Civitella Casanova and Villa Celiera. Tending to 5 hectares of vines, majority Montepulciano and Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, with small amounts of Pinot Nero, Pecorino, Barbera and Moscato, producing around 5,000 bottles a year. The name Lammidia comes from a dialect , the ´ mmidia , the envy or the evil eye. The wines are simply made ​​with naturally fermented grapes, there are not any additional substances, clarifications nor filtrations.
