James Erskine is one of the pioneers of the natural wine movement in Adelaide Hills. The Jauma Farm in Lenswood is the place where he brings his beautiful wines to life from grapes grown on the site and from neighbouring vineyards cultivated by likeminded growers. Besides the grapevines, the Jauma Farm is home to a cherry orchard, yoga studio, events space and all-round community hub. An incredible dream realised paired with some of the best natural wines in the land. When asked about the 2023 vintage, James simply said, "the best". He elaborated that alongside 2015, 2023 was the best year he had seen in Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale with easy growing conditions that allowed for generous wines with lower alcohol.
