Domaine Mittnacht Freres

Grandsons of founder Paul Mittnacht, have taken their Domaine and elevated it to one of the most prestigious of the Alsace region. Marc and Christophe employ biodynamic and organic practices, and were one of the earliest to become certified in Alsace in 1999.

Their farming philosophy sees the vineyard free of synthetic additives, with grapes harvested and sorted by hand. The wine is made with a minimum of interventions in mind, with only a small dose of sulphur added—to better respect the grapes and their terroir, harnessing the land’s expression in each wine.
