Henri Milan along with his son Théo and daughter Emmanuelle crafts elegant organic wines in the Provence town of St Remy.
Located near Alpilles, famous in part for one former frequent visitor Vincent Van Gough. The terroir is suited well to growing the vines planted because of the soil types. Limestone, clay and yellow sandstone all offer a similar environment for the vines of which they originated from. Milan is your classic winemaker, he doesn't use any chemical treatment from growing to bottling apart from a small amount of sulphur, on occassions, at bottling.
