Cantina Margò

Carlo Tabarrini was four when his father and Grandfather used to walk him through their vineyards, showing him the ropes.

Starting out with making wine for family consumption and grapes to sell, in 2008 Carlo started Cantina Margo. He began with 0.5 hectares from abandoned or neglected vineyards in Umbria, he has grown the business to about 3 hectares. He enjoys his "simple space to ferment grapes in peace, without too much technology and produces delicious, honest wines.
