About the maker
Calcareous soils, organic certified indigenous varieties and a focus on biodiversity means that Vito and father Peppino produce grapes that speak highly to both the health of the vineyard and the surrounding elements of their Puglian land.
Petracavallo produce natural and handcrafted wines that are expressions of their territory in Puglia, only a few kilometres from the Gulf of Taranto. All the wines are made from grapes grown in vineyards with traditional methods, not treated with pesticides, spontaneous fermentation without adding yeast to other grapes, with a low quantity of sulfur and without enzymes or additives It is mostly a work philosophy of the winemaker. The wines themselves are full of flavour, energy and are incredibly drinkable. A lesser known gem of the Puglian region fortunately imported into Australia.See the Petracavallo collection here
